郝吉思（Graham Russell Gao Hodges），1973年和1974年先后获得纽约城市大学城市学院的文学学士与硕士学位，1982年获纽约大学美国早期历史博士学位。曾担任美国科尔盖特大学历史系和亚裔、拉美裔及非裔研究中心的乔治•兰登讲座教授，以及2006-2007年度北京大学富布莱特项目历史教授，另著有《出租车!纽约市出租车司机社会史》等书。
